ROLL-UP DOOR REPLACEMENT

Amendment 1

The purpose of this amendment is to:

1. Extend the solicitation due date to 11 August 2025 by 0900 EST.

2. Incorporate REV 1 COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. Please note revisions/additions have been highlighted in red font. 

3. Incorporate Attachment 5, Questions and Answers.

4. Incorporate Attachment 6, JB CHS 111

5. Scheduled a site visit for 07 August 2025 at 0900 EST. Vendors will meet at the Joint Base Charleston Visitors Control Center parking lot; Address: W Hill Blvd, Joint Base Charleston, SC 29404. Vendors who wish to attend the site visit MUST register by 06 August 2025 no later than 1300 EST. Please register by providing full name and telephone number for each attendee to Patrick Thomas at patrick.thomas.30@us.af.mil. Max attendees two (2) per vendor. Please see attachment 6, vendors need to fill out with a copy of the Real ID. Front and back.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 

Joint Base Charleston requires the removal and replacement of two (2) insulated stainless steel overhead coiling roll-up doors at Building 302, 628th Communications Squadron (628 CS). The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to remove the existing malfunctioning doors and install new ones that are compatible with the existing tracks, gearhead motor operators, and building layout. The contractor will also provide electrical work and functional testing.
