JUAB COUNTY NOXIOUS WEED TREATMENTS- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The Bureau of Land Management, Utah State Office, West Desert Field Office intends to award a firm fixed price, sole-source purchase order for the service for invasive weeds treatment in Juab County, Utah with the Juab County Weed Department, UEI KXVFLJF9GKJ8.
It is in the Government¿s best interest to work, whenever possible, with the county as they can better coordinate weeds treatments across multi-jurisdictional boundaries (e.g. state and patented lands) and they are headquartered in close proximity to public lands in the county. The requirement will be for a base year and four (4) option years. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561730- Weed control and fertilizing services (except crop), with a size standard of $9.5M. The estimated cost for this requirement is $200,000.00.
This action is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1, for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisitions threshold. The anticipated award date is 6/1/2025. Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit, in writing, complete information describing their ability to provide the services listed above. Deadline for submittals is 05/29/2025 at 12:00 PM MT.
A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
