This is a pre-solicitation notice for a commercial acquisition using FAR parts 12 and 15. THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). VENDORS SHALL NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor shall the Government pay for the information resulting from this posting. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 has a requirement for Healthcare Aseptic Cleaning Services at the Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System, in Puerto Rico. The following facilities/buildings within the VACHS are included: VA Main Tower (Building No. 1) in San Juan, which includes Intensive Care Units (ICU's) VA Community Living Center (CLC) (Building No. 10) VA Outpatient Additional (OPA) (Building No. 19) VA South Bed Tower (SBT) Mayaguez Outpatient Clinic (MOPC) Total estimated square footage is 814,046 ft2. The procurement is 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement will be 561720 with a size standard of $22 million. Any resultant contract will be effective for one (1) twelve-month Base Period, and four (4) twelve-month Option Periods which may be exercised at the Government s discretion. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, clauses, and provisions, as will be stated in the eventual solicitation. The tentative issue date for the actual solicitation is fifteen (15) days from this posting. Proposals will be due no less than thirty (30) days after the issuance of any solicitation. Additionally, the tentative start date for the contract resulting of such solicitation is October 1, 2025. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
