    PRON: D14H0709D1.  The Government proposes to acquire on a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a minimum quantity of 194 each and a maximum quantity of  583 each of a SAFETY AND ARMING DEVICE; NSN: 1336-01-671-8243; Part Number: 13705348-01 applicable to the M-D6 PATRIOT weapon system.

    Production Lead Time is 583 each, 180 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to CHAMBERSBURG, PA 17201-4150.

    This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity’s procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity.
