Description of Work The Contractor shall perform a full depth runway repair that is approximately 150 wide by 8500 long. The project includes demolishing and removing all surface course and base course to existing subgrade. After demolition, the Contractor shall compact the existing subgrade, provide new base course and runway surface course. The repair includes 10 wide shoulders extending the full length of the runway on both sides. The Contractor shall paint all pavement markings, and the Contractor shall slope and grade non-engineered surfaces away from the runway in accordance with design guidance, plans, specifications, and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-260-01, Airfield and Heliport Planning and Design and UFC 3-260-02, Pavement Design for Airfields. MAGNITUDE FAR 36.204(h) and DFARS 236.204(ii) The magnitude of this project is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. LOCATION OF WORK: Northwest Field Andersen Air Force Base, GU PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE 640 Calendar Days RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS: This acquisition is being competed as a 100% Small Business set-aside under the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction with a small business size standard of $45 million. The eventual contract for this acquisition is contemplated to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP).
