SALE OF RECYCLABLE SCRAP METAL - MCAAP

"The U.S. Army intends to award a one-year contract for the sale of scrap metals, including copper/brass, aluminum, and scrap mixed metal. This contract may be extended to a total of four option years after the initial first year if both parties agree. The pickup location for the scrap metal will be at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP). MCAAP is located in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, a few miles outside of McAlester. Located 85 miles South of Tulsa and 120 miles southeast of Oklahoma City. Purchaser will be responsible for supplying roll-off containers, locking roll-off containers, and live load trailers as needed to be filled with scrap metals by the Army. Multiple pickups may be required on any one day. Purchaser must be able to provide up to 25 roll-off containers within one week after the reward of this contract to be placed at various locations at MCAAP. The sales contract will be awarded to a single vendor, based on the highest Overall Score as calculated in accordance with the solicitation. Only solicitation bids from U.S. companies will be considered for award. The Army anticipates awarding the sales contract in September 2025. All solicitation documents are due to the contracting officer by 1630 Hours - Central Time on 23 August 2025.  No, collect calls will be accepted.
