SALT BATH & HEAT TREAT FURNACE WITH INDUSTRIAL FREEZER

The DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for a Molten Salt Bath Tank Furnace and an Industrial Preservation Freezer.   Potential sources must provide the Molten Salt Bath Tank Furnace and an Industrial Preservation Freezer with turn-key services which include: technical data, delivery, unloading and rigging, IUID tag, removal of the existing freezer, installation, and training.  For both the freezer and the furnace, each shall be equipped with the following Honeywell brand components: HC900 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and MiniTrend digital chart recorder.  No substitution are permitted for the Honeywell brand components.

Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to manufacture or legitimately obtain the listed items/supplies are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought by the closing date listed on this SAM.GOV posting (Eastern Standard Time).  All responses under this Sources Sought Notice should be emailed to avnipemarketresearch@dla.mil with the subject line marked as “ATTN: 26-40-1004”. Responses should not exceed ten (10) one-sided 8.5 x 10-inch pages with a font that is no smaller than 10 point as this is not a request for a proposal but only a request for submission of a vendor's capability to perform this requirement.

DLA Aviation is requesting industry input into the feasibility of the government’s requirements. In your response, please provide:
