Amendment 001:

This amendment is to incoporate Questions and Answers received through May 29, 2025 and extend the due date to June 6, 2025. An updated SOW will follow. 

This procurement requires the use of Biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. The products should first be acquired from the USDA designated products categories.

Janitorial services as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW) at the frequencies and standards identified in the SOW and Schedule of Items. The contractor shall perform in accordance with the standards defined in this contract. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, supplies, and materials (including safety), and all other incidentals necessary to provide janitorial and related services as described herein. The contract will be awarded for one base year with four option years.

System updates may lag policy updates. The System for Award Management (SAM) may continue to require entities to complete representations based on provisions that are not included in agency solicitations. Examples include 52.222-25, Affirmative Action Compliance, and paragraph (d) of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Contracting officers will not consider these representations when making award decisions or enforce requirements. Entities are not required to, nor are they able to, update their entity registration to remove these representations in SAM.
