    Description

    The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island is issuing solicitation W519TC-25-Q-A009.

    This notice is regarding School Bus Services on Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL.

    This requirement is 100% total small business set-aside.

    The scope of this project consists of providing exclusive, daily, timely transportation of military/civilian dependents back and forth from a military installation to multiple schools within the local Moline School District area (two routes in the morning and two routes in the afternoon). Requested services align with the school calendar year, which begins in August and ends in June (approximately 176 days).

    The Contractor shall provide services for all days school is in session, including days that are not a full school day, and for makeup days due to inclement weather or other circumstance. The number of students riding the bus fluctuates during the school year but approximately is in the low sixties. In the event of an emergency situation, an immediate bus service will be required for approximately 330 children varying in ages from 6-months to 18 years, and 85 staff; these individuals will need transported from multiple childcare facilities on RIA to a to-be-determined location within a 15-mile radius of RIA.
