SECURITY ONION SOLUTIONS COURSE, CERTIFICATION & LICENSES

The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) is issuing this notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract, to Security Onion Solutions, LLC, a small business concern under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i)  – soliciting from a single source.  

This acquisition is for the procurement of Security Onion Fundamentals for Analysts & Admins course and certification and Security Onion Pro licenses from the original equipment manufactuer, Security Onion Solutions, LLC.

MCTSSA intends to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.”

The basis of the sole source: Security Onion Solutions, LLC is an authorized reseller that meets all requirements. No other reseller meets the current need. 

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any party interested in submitting questions or concerns regarding this notice or the Government's intent to sole source may contact the Contract Specialist, Kendra Johnson, via email:  kendra.johnson@usmc.mil no later than 5 calendar days after this announcement. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred by responding to this notice.
