SECURITY SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF THE U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, LOUISVILLE DISTRICT HEADQUARTERS FACILITY

Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction, 2000.12, dated 01 March 2012, incorporating Change 3, dated 08 May 2017, Para 4 (a) relates that DoD components and DoD elements and personnel shall be protected from criminal activity and terrorist acts through a high-priority, comprehensive Antiterrorism (AT) program using an integrated systems approach. The Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Program focuses on defensive measures) using an integrated systems approach to reduce the vulnerability of individuals and property from criminal activity, terrorist acts, including rapid containment by local military and civilian forces. The minimum elements of an AT/FP program will facilitate the sustainment activities related to matters of life, health, safety, critical infrastructure protection, and protection of national security assets. The contractor shall provide unarmed on-site guard facility security operations and access control support for Louisville District Headquarters (HQ) facility, 220 West Main St, Louisville, KY.

The contractor shall provide these services in accordance with the staffing requirements in this PWS. The contractor shall provide a safe environment to conduct business without fear of violence, crime, or disorder. The contractor shall work closely with the LRL Security Management Office and LRL Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for a comprehensive and successful guard services program for this facility.

The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, will not exceed five (5) years. The contract will include a 1-year base period of performance, four 1-year option periods. The options may be exercised any time during the period of performance of the contract.
