The USDA, APHIS, National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) and Center for Veterinary Biologics (CVB) have a requirement for full maintenance support for specific The USDA, APHIS, National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) and Center for Veterinary Biologics (CVB) intends to make a sole source firm fixed price award with Roche Diagnostic (DUNS: 001824663) for the following services: Unlimited Services Visits including labor hours, traval time and expensese Monday - Friday by certified OEM personnel for two  Ventana Discovery Ultra equipment 48 hour response 1 preventive maintenance visit/performance every 12 months on all equipment Provide maintenance and repairs cone in accordance with OEM specififcations and OEM neccassary parts software revision unlimited telephone and online support The Ventana Discovery Ultra immunohistochemical stainers are critical components of the testing methods used in the diagnosis or confirmation of scrapie and chronic wasting disease (CWD), for national programs at the NVSL and in NAHLN Laboratories.  The Ventana Discovery Ultra staining modules for the PrP IHC is required to complete approved SOPs at the NVSL for case tissue evaluation.  These instruments require a yearly preventative maintenance and onsite repair service.  No other vendor has access to priority software, specifications, required maintenance parts, and certified service engineers.  Ventana Medical Systems is a part of Roche Diagnostics Corporation.This notice is for informational purposes only.
