PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE

The DLA Troop Support Subsistence Directorate intends to solicit and award fifteen (15) months or Seven Million dollars ($7,000,000.00) acquisition, whichever comes first for the supply and direct delivery of Beverage Base (Bag-In-Box Carbonated, Non-Carbonated, Electrolyte, Juice Drinks containing </= 20% Juice and 100% fruit juice for DOD customers, non-DOD customers, and Navy/Coast Guard Ships in the Continental United States (CONUS), Hawaii, Alaska, and Guam.

Juice beverages that contain less than 100% fruit juice, with the exception of cranberry juice cocktail which should contain a minimum of 20% juice in accordance with 21 CFR Part 101.30. “Juices that are defined as containing 100% juice, except for cranberry juice (which must have a concentration of 20% or higher), are not included in this solicitation and will not be offered under any contracts resulting from it.”

This acquisition will be solicited on a full and open competition basis. In addition to Bag-In-Box products, successful offeror(s) shall supply the necessary dispensing equipment and CO2. (Exception: Navy customers will order CO2 separately due to funding specific to the Navy.) The resultant contract(s) will be Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity Contract(s) (IQC) that provide for an indefinite quantity, within stated limits, of specific supplies or services to be furnished during a fixed period, with deliveries to be scheduled by placing orders with the Contractor(s). Single or Multiple awards are anticipated. The Government may add, delete, or replace items on the contract as customers need change by written notification from the customer to DLA and the Contractor(s).
