SOFTWARE INTEGRATION LAB - NOTICE OF INTENT BRAND NAME ANTENNAS FOR COMMUNICATION GEODESIC DIELECTRIC RADOME

In accordance with Section 888(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2017 (FY17) (Public Law 114-328) as implemented by Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-1(c)(2), the justification and approval (J&A) addressed in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.303 is required to use brand name or equal descriptions for the Antennas For Communication Geodesic Dielectric Radome in the firm-fixed price construction contract for the Software Integration Lab at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The Software Integration Lab will be constructed within Building 9201.  Installation of the Antennas For Communication Geodesic Dielectric Radome allows for compatibility with an existing Radome to eliminate any variation in the system configuration introducing variables that could compromise the system’s functionality. Duplicating the exact equipment and Radome will ensure seamless operation, simplify troubleshooting, and maintain integrity.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 10:00AM Central Standard Time on 08 June 2025 to brian.j.welch@usace.army.mil.
