Description

In accordance with Section 888(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2017 (FY17) (Public Law 114-328) as implemented by Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-1(c)(2), the justification and approval (J&A) addressed in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.303 is required to use brand name or equal descriptions for the Sheergard Electromagnetic Antenna Room Window System in the firm-fixed price construction contract for the Software Integration Lab at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The Software Integration Lab will be constructed within Building 9201. Installation of the Sheergard Electromagnetic Antenna Room Window System allows for protection and concealment of sensitive radar and communication systems that are compatible with existing systems. Duplicating the exact equipment ensures seamless operation without compromising security and integrity.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 10:00AM Central Standard Time on 08 June 2025 to brian.j.welch@usace.army.mil.
