    Request for Information Annoucement For LCAC Wireless Intercom System. 

    The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWCPCD) is conducting a survey of potential sources for the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) program. NSWCPCD is seeking sources for a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Wireless intercommunications system for a system upgrade effort.   This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) for a Wireless Intercommunication system for the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC).  THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.  Key Parameters include but not limited to:   

    Features:

    • Full duplex communications (Threshold)
    • Digital Communications
    • 15 users per channel (Minimum)
    • Three simultaneously speaking users on a channel (Minimum)
    • 25 channels (Minimum)
    • 100 channels, 31 users per channel and 6 simultaneous speakers
    • Can operate as a stand alone system or as a wireless extension to existing Intercommunications Systems (ICS)
