Clinical Salient Requirements:
- The lighting system must be operable without compromising the sterile field required for vaginal deliveries.
- The light must provide bright, focused illumination deep into the birth canal.
- The illumination must be homogenous and minimize shadows cast by the clinical team.
- The light quality must allow for accurate assessment of tissue color.
Technological Salient Requirements:
Server Requirements: The system must allow for precise, remote aiming of the light beam from a distance via remote or wand.
- The light fixture must be fully recessed into a standard ceiling grid.
- The light must provide a minimum level of brightness at a standard working distance. 14,000 LUX at 3 meters and 49,000 LUX at 1 meter.
- A single controller must be able to operate multiple light heads simultaneously.
- The light source must be energy-efficient, long-lasting, and produce minimal heat.
Capture Workstation Requirements: N/A
- System Requirement:
- It must be compatible with standard hospital ceiling heights and grid systems.
- Must operate on standard hospital electrical systems.
- Must include both a wall-mounted control panel and a handheld wand.
Other Requirements:
- Installation, inspection and warranty certification of recessed lighting system, single mount or up to two (2) flush ceiling mounted exam system. Includes pre-installation walk through, installation and full functional testing of the system. Does not include electrical wiring, structure or wall control unit rough in. Pricing does not include weekend/after-hours work.
- Direct-To-Site Setup Service: inspecting products for damage and coordinating replacement if required.
- Delivery is requested Monday through Friday between the hours of 0800-1500.
- Installation and removal shall take place during any time of day at address: 1650 Cochrane Circle, BLDG 7500, Fort Carson, CO 80913.
