N0016425SNB94 Sources Sought- The Government is seeking a procurement for the evaluation, repair and procurement of INCO spare parts for the AN/SPY radar system and associated equipment PSC J012/1285 NAICS 334511 Issue Date 2 June 2025 Closing Date 17 June 2025 The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought or to otherwise pay for the information requested. This Sources Sought is being issued in accordance with FAR 5.201(c) for the purpose of mitigating the sole-source basis cited below. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division has a requirement for evaluation, repair and procurement of Installation and Check Out (INCO) spare parts in support of the AN/SPY radar system and ancillary equipment which is to include but not limited to Solid State Switch Assembly (SSSA) components onboard U.S. Navy (USN) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) ships, at AEGIS Land Based Test Sites (LBTS), and/or contractor facilities as may be required for the USN. This requirement is planned as a Firm-Fixed price (FFP) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for a period of five (5) years for US Navy and Foreign Military Sales. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to award a sole-source contract to Raytheon Company, Andover, Massachusetts (CAGE 7Y193). This effort is anticipated to be conducted on a solesource basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Raytheon Company is the only known source which has the capability to evaluate/repair and procure the INCO Kits and spare parts. The Government is seeking information from Contractors mitigating the sole-source basis cited above. All interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of current capabilities of no more than three 8.5x11 pages (font no smaller than 10 point) demonstrating ability to meet the requirements listed in this Sources Sought to mitigate procuring this effort on a sole-source basis as stated above.
