SPECIAL NOTICE: Sources Sought to include Sole Source Brand Requirement in Solicitation
The U.S Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) intends to issue a solicitation for the construction of the Redstone Arsenal Airfield Microgrid – Electric Power, Photovoltaic Project. As part of the construction contract solicitation, the USACE intends to include a sole-source brand name requirement for Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) multifunction protective relays and microgrid controllers.
This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in the Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to determine if the interested party can meet the requirement described herein.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. Submissions must be received no later than 1:00 PM ET on 22 April 2026 to henry.c.caldera@usace.army.mil.
