Notice of Intent to Award A Sole Source Action

THIS PRESOLICTITATION NOTICE IS HEREBY ISSUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR SUBPART 5.2

The purpose of this notice is to announce SSC/SZK-IK's intent to issue a sole source justification and approval to increase the SSC/SZ SAFS-3 IDIQ ceiling under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. SSC/SZ has a requirement for additional Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) financial management support.

SSC/SZK-IK has determined that an exception to full and open competition is appropriate for fulfilling this requirement. This requirement is considered non-commercial and any resultant action will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15 to:

SSC/SZK-IK will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will occur at the following SSC locations: Los Angeles AFB, CA; Peterson AFB, CO; Schriever AFB, CO Kirtland AFB, NM; the Aerospace Facility in Los Angeles, CA; and Huntsville, AL.

This contract provides unbiased space systems knowledgeable, experienced professional A&AS services support to the Space Combat Power Program Executive Officer’s (PEO) portfolio of MDAPs and includes Cost Estimating and Analysis Support, Financial Reconciliation, PPBE Analysis Support, and Earned Value Management, among other tasks.
