    SPE7M225R0008 1720-01-648-7320 Spreader Assembly The proposed procurement is for NSN 1720-01-648-7320, Spreader Assembly. This part is coded for the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment. It is a Critical Safety Item and as such, the part is to be manufactured by NAVAIR approved sources. The NAVAIR P/N is 510624-14. Manufacturers not designated by NAVAIR will be required to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) Package for future procurements. Contract type will be firm-fixed priced (FFP) for a quantity of 12 EA. Quantity ranges are included to adjust demands if necessary. Item is for stock location New Cumberland, PA (W25G1U). Requested delivery is approximately 700 days after date of award, which includes days for Government First Article Testing. Solicitation will require FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination (at Lakehurst). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer which, if timely received shall be considered. Offerors are also advised to update ORCA. The following applies: The solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the Unites States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
