SSST DEPOT CYS 2027-2031

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD anticipates awarding a sole source, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC),1575 South Price Road, Chandler, AZ 85286. The supplies and services anticipated to be procured include the continued modification, engineering changes, sustainment, repair, sparing, storage, logistics support, test support, and engineering support service efforts in support of the GQM-163A Coyote Supersonic Sea-Skimming Target (SSST). It is anticipated the resulting IDIQ contract will be a combination of Firm Fixed Price and Cost-Plus Fixed Fee for the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and In-Service Engineering (ISE) efforts described above. The anticipated period of performance is a one-year base with four ordering years. Contract Award is anticipated for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027.

GENERAL INFORMATION: NGSC (operating as Orbital Sciences Corporation (OSC), Launch Vehicles Division (LVD)) is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the GQM-163A Coyote aerial target. As the sole integrator of their systems, NGSC is the only contractor with requisite knowledge, experience, and proprietary data rights to meet the Government’s requirements for the GQM-163A SSST systems.
