STATIC ELECTRICITY PREVENTION GROUNDING PROJECT AT AMMUNITION SUPPLY POINT - FORT RILEY

The Fort Riley Mission and Installation Contracting and Command (MICC) Office on behalf of the 1st Infantry Division, the Big Red One located in Fort Riley Kansas is issuing this source sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for electrical services.

The contractor shall provide an electrician(s) qualified in a hazardous work environment/electrical safety, required job performance equipment and materials, and any specialty equipment and supplies needed to perform and complete contract requirements. Performance and required duties include the inspection and installation or repair of proper grounding points, braided mesh webbing straps on all interior equipment within the facility and the ground testing of that equipment when completed at building 929 Installation Ammunition Supply Point Ammunition Surveillance workshop, Fort Riley, Kansas. The items being serviced within the Ammunition Surveillance Workshop consist of, but not limited to 6 workshop tables, 2 Shelving units, 1 Storage Cabinet, 4 Floor Mats, 1 Louver/Window, replacement of Braided Straps, Cleaning (as required) of existing grounding clamps, and the testing of all new grounded items. The services and actions your company will be required to perform to complete and fulfill this contract is the complete grounding of interior equipment within the facility.
