NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE – KOENIG & BAUER BANKNOTE SOLUTIONS

Super Orlof Intaglio Press Wiper Tank(s) Replacement

The Treasury Common Services Center, Acquisition Services on behalf of the Office of Production intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to purchase and installation of Wiper Tank(s) for the Super Orlof Intaglio Presses utilizing a Justification and Approval in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. The intended contractor is Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions.

This procurement is for the purchase and installation of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Wiper Tanks for the Super Orlof Intaglio Presses used by BEP for currency manufacturing.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information, or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
