Commander, Naval Surface Force, Atlantic seeks services and supplies for a Surface Ship Corrosion Mitigation Program. CNSL N43 will identify specific ships and maintenance periods for each assessment event, targeting a Window of Opportunity (WOO). There will be twelve (12) assessment events and training sessions to Ships Force on (8) Combatant ships and four (4) Amphibious ships, with the goal of one assessment event per ship per month on a yearly basis. In conjunction with the Ships Force training on use and application of corrosion control inhibiting product, a six-month supply of corrosion inhibition material for remediation of corrosion will be provided for designated CNSL ships to be utilized by Ships Force on an as needed basis.
