SYNOPSIS HARNEY GYM PHASE II

Synopsis

This posted announcement is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.207.

The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Leavenworth intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB).  

The work will include the following: repair and/or replacement of some mechanical, plumbing (including under-slab), electrical and fire notification and detection systems; demolition of some load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls, concrete flooring, ceilings; and construction of structural lintels, non-load-bearing walls, doors, frames, interior glazing “lites”, ceilings, lighting, power and all related finishes. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials to perform all work in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. This acquisition will require a general contractor with experience and expertise capable of managing numerous task orders at the same time, which will require construction scheduling, cost estimating, quality control, and coordination of subcontractors in a wide variety of construction trades.

Anticipated award will be given to a responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids; will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the invitation.
