Intent to Single Source a Requirement

The Indian Health Service (IHS), Shiprock Service Unit, intends to negotiate a single-sourced, firm-fixed-price contract with the University of Utah (UEI: LL8GLEVH6MG3) for the procurement of telestroke services for patients with possible stroke to be provided through telehealth to assist with the diagnosis and care of patients with stroke signs/symptoms presented to the Northern Navajo Medical Center. All necessary personnel, supplies, materials, and equipment to perform these services will be provided by the vendor. The NAICS code is 611310, with an associated small business size standard of $34.5M. 

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchase not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

This notice of intent to award a single source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response(s) is received by 12:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) on Friday, August 22, 2025, the contract will be issued without further notice.

Responses should be received by the deadline stated above. All vendors are hereby notified that if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
