This project will consist of the rehabilitation of eleven (11) RV camping pads, six (6) at the Tanglefoot Work Center and five (5) at Tusayan Ranger Station. Pad rehabilitation consists of clearing overgrown pads; subgrade preparation, new gravel placement and compaction for parking pads; replacement of water and sewer connections; limited replacement of water and sewer lines; and replacement of electrical components on existing electrical service pedestals.
This project also includes optional work items for the rehabilitation of an additional thirteen (13) RV pads, eight (8) at Jacob Lake Work Center and five (5) at Big Springs Work Center; subsurface utility locating; television inspection and flow testing of an existing septic system; replacement of septic tank and leach field; replacement or installation of propane lines and connections for twenty-four (24) RV pads; and additional water and sewer line replacement.
