U--FIRST AID-CPR TRAINING FOR NAVAJO REGIONAL OFFICE (NRO) STAFFNOTICE OF INTENT

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.


The United States Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Navajo Regional Office (NRO), intends to enter into a sole source firm-fixed price contract with Flagstaff Field Institute, Inc., a Non-Indian owned small business, for Wilderness First Aid and CPR training for Firefighters, Range Technicians and Natural Resources field staff at the remote office location in Fort Defiance, Arizona. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a Single Source.

Flagstaff Field Institute, Inc. is the only company that specializes in Wilderness First Aid, that will provide a certification that is nationally recognized and will travel to a remote location in Fort Defiance, Arizona to provide the training. No solicitation is available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 611710 Educational Support Services and the Small Business Size Standard is $24M. If a firm believes that BIA should not pursue this procurement, it should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement by 3 September 2025, 12:00 PD.
