AI Summary
The U.S. Army is seeking industry feedback for future range operations requirements at Kwajalein Atoll. This RFI focuses on limited base operations support necessary for range operations, excluding broader base operations support. Interested parties should monitor SAM.gov for updates and future solicitations related to these requirements.
*** Industry Feedback & Scope Update ***
The Government thanks industry for the thoughtful feedback provided in response to the RFI and during the Industry Day exchange. Please note due to recent changes in the organizational structure and command relationships on Kwajalein, Base Operations Support (BOS) is no longer within the scope of this future U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) requirement. Future Kwajalein BOS requirements are not expected to be pursued under the follow-on USASMDC Kwajalein range requirements acquisition.
However, certain limited base-operations-type support functions that are necessary to enable range operations are still anticipated. These requirements will be identified in a follow-on RFI with a more focused scope (excluding broader BOS requirements).
The follow-on USASMDC range-focused RFI is anticipated to be posted within 90 calendar days of the RFI’s inactive date of November 19, 2025 (no later than February 17, 2026) on SAM.gov. It is anticipated that future Kwajalein BOS requirements will be pursued under a separate, standalone acquisition. Interested parties should monitor SAM.gov for separate notices regarding future USASMDC Kwajalein range requirements and future Kwajalein BOS requirements, respectively. In support of the refined USASMDC range requirements acquisition, the SAM.gov special notice that led to the September 2025 Kwajalein Industry Day and RFI may be amended or cancelled and replaced with a new notice.
