NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101(a)(1) requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. The requirement consists of the implementation, training, and technical support for an SPD competency management platform to support sterile processing operations at the Dublin VAMC. The MySPD platform provides integrated SPD-specific functionality, including: Digital competency validation and documentation tailored specifically to sterile processing workflows Standardized training content aligned with AAMI, ANSI, Joint Commission, and VHA requirements Role-based competency assignment and validation Real-time compliance dashboards and audit-ready reporting Proven deployment in healthcare sterile processing environments Vendor-provided implementation, training, and ongoing technical support No other known commercial solution provides an equivalent, fully integrated SPD competency management platform with validated sterile processing content and operational maturity suitable for immediate deployment at the Dublin VAMC. The anticipated contract structure is a Base Period of one (1) year with four (4) one-year option periods. The Government anticipates the total value of this procurement to be within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, inclusive of all option years.
