UNATTENDED GROUND SENSOR SYSTEM

PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain industry capabilities, to determine interest in participation, and to determine the availability to provide products/services for the 31st SFS Aviano AB - Italy. The information from this market research will help the 31st SFS with their acquisition strategy. Firms are strongly encouraged to provide comments, questions, and suggestions relative to the project scope, methodologies and technologies, and approach. Any input that businesses or interested parties would like to provide will be reviewed and considered.

SCOPE/DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

Seeking sources with capability to fulfill the requirement as detailed below:

Unattended Ground Sensor (UGS) system salient characteristics:

• Specify the number of sensors per kit needed to cover an area from 20,000 sqm up to 80,000sqm.
• Ground sensors must be provided with rechargeable battery
• Ground sensors must be portable and deployable above ground (no digging)
• Ground sensors must detect Human, Vehicle, Magnetic Vehicle, Tamper/Displacement Detection Capability with GPS
• UGS system must be radio operated via outdoor antenna (minimum range covered 5 km)
• UGS system must be controlled through a console/laptop
• UGS system must be compatible with Android Tactical Awareness Kit (ATAK)
• All the above must be operated 220v/50Hz
