The United States Coast Guard Deputy Commandant for Systems (DCS) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) on behalf of the Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) for market research purposes only. This notice is issued solely to obtain information from industry and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government is not requesting proposals or quotations at this time and will not award a contract based on responses to this notice.
The Government is seeking information regarding the capability of industry to provide the supplies and/or services described below.
DESCRIPTION OF POTENTIAL REQUIREMENT
The Government is conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution to replace the existing Transformer Anti-Condensate Heater Install on its 225-ft WLB class of cutters. The anticipated requirement may include providing all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to furnish the required supplies or perform the required services in support of Coast Guard operations.
The anticipated place(s) of performance or delivery may include various U.S. Coast Guard cutter homeports, and the estimated period of performance or delivery timeframe is to be determined, if applicable.
The Government is interested in understanding industry capability, availability of commercial solutions, typical delivery or performance timelines, and any relevant experience providing similar supplies or services.
REQUESTED INFORMATION
Interested parties are invited to submit capability information demonstrating their ability to provide the supplies and/or services described above. Responses may include a brief description of the company, relevant experience performing similar work, and any other information that may assist the Government in understanding industry capability.
Responses should be concise and limited to information relevant to the potential requirement. Marketing materials may be included but are not required.
