USDA-NASS MAINTENANCE SERVICE FOR QUADIENT DS-1200 4I INSERTER

The U.S. Department of Agriculture-National Agricultural Statistics Service (USDA-NASS) requires maintenance services on their DS1200 4i equipment. The DS1200 4i equipment is in use at the NASS National Operations Division (NOD) – Print Mail Center (PMC) to process survey questionnaires, reports, and other communications for mailing. The inserter is owned by NASS and requires a services to facilitate and maintain operational status of this unit. The NOD-PMC requires the servicing company to have a local presence and a maximum response time of 4 hours from the time of call if it’s made before 1:00 pm and if the request is made after 1:00 pm come next the morning during normal operation hours.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation 1232SA25Q0767 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-05.

NAICS for this procurement is: 561499 – All Other Business Support Service, Size Standard $21.5M

Communication Regarding this Solicitation:

The Government reserves the right to cancel this combined synopsis/solicitation at any time.

The vendor shall submit quotes via email to Jacob.toft@usda.gov with a subject line of “Quote: 1232SA25Q0767”, for receipt no later than 3:00 pm EST, Wednesday, 10 September 2025. Only those quotes received by this date and time will be considered for award. Submission of the quote that does not contain all items requested below may result in elimination from consideration for award.

Responses must include the following items:

1. The company name

2. POC Name, email address, telephone number

3. RFQ number

4. Vendor UEI number.

In addition, the quote should address the elements of the Statement of Work (Attachment 1) enclosed, along with the terms and conditions (Attachment - 1232SA25Q0767 - Terms and Conditions).
