    This is not a Solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice only. Submission will NOT be evaluated for award of a contract but strictly for market research purposes. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain market knowledge of potential sources and their size classifications; HUBZone, 8(a), Small Disadvantage Business, Woman Owned Business, Veteran Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business relative to NAICS Code 624410, Child Care Service, with a small business size standard not to exceed $9,500,000.00 gross annual receipts. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate determinations about potential sources only. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the supplies/services that fulfill the required specifications mentioned within the Performance Work Statement. No solicitation is currently available. After review of the responses to this sources sought announcement a synopsis and/or solicitation announcement may be published at a future date. Responses to this notice shall include company name, address, point of contact, size of business pursuant to North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS), a capability statement and must respond to the following questions: Please indicate the size status and representations of your business, such as but not limited to: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Large Business, etc.)? Is your company considered small under the NAICS code identified under this RFI? If you are a large business, do you have any authorized distributors? If so, please provide their company name, telephone, point of Contact and size status (if available). If you intend to subcontract any work on this contract, what portion of the total cost will be self-performed/will be performed by your organization? Please provide estimated detailed percentage breakdowns related to subcontracted work and completion of the job. General pricing of your per diem rate for a nightly occupied bed is encouraged. Pricing will be used for the purpose of market research only. It will not be used to evaluate for any type of award. Please submit your capabilities statement regarding the Services required within the attached Performance Work Statement. Also include any relevant experience if desired. Past Performance: Contractors may submit up to three (3) past performance references, including both the customer point of contact information and details of the work performed. Past performance information shall be recent (performance within the last three years) and relevant to this scope of work. The Contractor shall provide hourly drop-in childcare services for children ages six (6) weeks through twelve (12) years old and up to eighteen (18) years of age for children with special needs, during hours that align with the outpatient clinic hours of the facility in accordance with those facilities in Washington’s state, where VA Kids Care resides and Federal laws pertaining to childcare centers. Any child that is less than 6 weeks old will not be accepted into VA Kids Care. The Contractor shall at all times provide at least one childcare attendant on-site with experience in caring for special needs children. The Program consists of temporary care (not to exceed 3 hours) that offers children a variety of activities. The current maximum capacity is dependent on the space available at each facility. However, the daily operational capacity is determined by the age of the children, childcare attendant/child ratios, and the veteran needs. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Please provide responses to this notice to: james.harris13@va.gov.
