    Description

    This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart  12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

    The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Vicksburg, MS, is issuing solicitation W912HZ25RA001 for a Welding Supplies Master Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).

    The objective of this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is to obtain concrete and aggregates supplies for the Engineering Research and Development Centers (ERDC) facilities over the next five years. Orders will be issued by firm-fixed price BPA Call orders. There is no minimum guarantee for this agreement.

    The Contractor shall furnish all management, materials, supplies, and transportation to deliver all requirements specified in each BPA call. Award of BPA calls will only be made under contractors included in the BPA pool. The supplies include but are not limited to the following:

    • Electrodes – all types including stick, rod, spool, wire, etc. for various metals.

    • Gas – all types of gases consumed in welding processes including oxygen, acetylene, etc.

    • Welders, Cutters and Accessories – various types of welders, cutters and accessories including replacement parts and maintenance items.

    • Tools – miscellaneous tools used in conjunction with welding including abrasives, cutting tools, machine tools, grinding tools, etc.

    • Miscellaneous Supplies – pipe, tubing, fittings, valves, flanges and personal safety equipment.

    This solicitation is set-aside 100% for Small Business.  The designated NAICS Code 333992, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees.

    All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the proposal due date. You may register electronically at the SAM website, https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.  The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format.  Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to the solicitation.  Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
