    Description

Background: The sealant beneath the metal trims is beginning to lose its firmness in courtyard 1 of BLDG 170, causing water to infiltrate into rooms G101A and G101B, the men’s and women’s restroom. A sealant was used on the membrane, above the restroom ceiling and below the courtyard, but leaks are still visible.

Scope: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation to remove existing caulk and vinyl out of all the windows in the courtyard area and to re-caulk the area at Eugene J. Towbin Veterans’ Healthcare Center at 2200 Fort Roosts Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72114. Contractor is responsible for all Staging equipment, or equipment necessary to reach each window frame. If required, the contractor is also responsible for disassembling and reassembling the metal awning above the entrance to the courtyard, as it’s connected to some of the vertical frames and it may prevent contractors from accessing some of the window frames.

Delivery: Vendor shall deliver equipment no later than 30-days from the date of award.

One unit to be delivered to each of the following sites Monday – Friday (Excluding National Holidays), 8am – 4:30pm:

    Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System

    2200 Fort Roosts Dr

    North Little Rock, AR. 72114

A site visit for this requirement will be held on Wednesday 1/28/26 @ 10:00am CST at the address stated above.  All who plan to attend must RSVP to Marcus.Gasper@va.gov no later than Tuesday 1/27/28 @ 5:00 pm CST.  Please note that the attached SOW is a draft and is subject to future changes and/or updates prior to the posting of the official solicitation.
