    Description

    Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The U.S. Embassy Canberra will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The requirement is for Workers Compensation Insurance for Embassy employees in Canberra, ACT. The anticipated performance is for a one-year period only from July 1st, 2025- June 30th, 
    2026. 


    All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.
    The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. 


    The Contractor shall perform this contract in accordance with local laws. The Contractor is required to be an approved Workers Compensation Insurer under the Australian Workers Compensation Act 1951. 

    All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database SAM.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore,prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
