NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE / SOLE SOURCE

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Acquisitions and Grants Office intends to award a single source, firm fixed price contract as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Xeos Technologies for the purchase of GPS recovery beacons (qty 5) and subsurface LED flashers (qty 6).

The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Sources interested in responding to this notice shall submit a capability statement that includes technical capability and cost information, sufficient detail, and convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. All responses received will be saved for consideration for future awards.

Be advised that all correspondence sent via e-mail shall contain a subject line that reads "Notice of Intent 143051-25-0082". To ensure your response along with any and all attachments are received, attachment(s) must be less than 20 MB [in total]. It is the responsibility of the offeror to contact the government to confirm receipt prior response due date and time.

A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
