    BLM-CO SLVFO ZAPATA FALLS CAMPGROUND IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 1 This amendment is to extend the response date to 8/25/2025, to clarify the evaluation criteria, and to update the solicitation procedures to FAR 13 Simplified Acquisitions. Past performance is more important than price. No other changes were made. This is a solicitation announcement for a campground expansion project located within the Bureau of Land Management Zapata Falls Recreation Site, located in Alamosa County, Colorado. Zapata Falls Campground is approximately 29 miles North and East of Alamosa along CO-150 N. Socio-economic Categories: While this procurement remains a competitive Total Small Business Set-Aside, the BLM highly encourages and welcomes quotes from all sub-categories of small business such as Small Disadvantaged, Woman Owned, Service Disabled Veteran, HUBZone, 8a, and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises. 1.1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to convert existing Day Use Picnic Sites at Zapata Falls Campground into full campgrounds with mostly back in parking spaces. Work includes excavation and placement of earthen materials, placement of rock retention walls, demolition of existing day use areas, installation of tables and fire rings, installation of bear-proof trash cans, scarifying existing disturbed areas, and importing and placing aggregate surfacing material. 1.2 LOCATION Work under this Contract is performed at Zapata Falls Recreation Site, located in Alamosa County, Colorado. The project location is at latitude: 37°37'17.85"N, longitude: 105°33'34.48"W and is approximately 29 miles North and East of Alamosa along CO-150 N. The work locations are shown on the drawings and attached maps. 1.3 WORK SCHEDULE Work shall be completed by May 30, 2026. Work is not allowed on Federal holidays. Work shall occur Monday through Friday. Contract time will be paused, upon request, when snow or snowmelt prevents work at the project site. Recreation site will still be open to visitors and must be roped off and signed for safety. Period of Performance: September 1, 2025 - May 30, 2026 Rough Order of Magnitude - Between $100,000 and $250,000. Basic Contracting Requirements: 1.
