    Description

    Synopsis:
    The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) has a requirement for replacing two runs of 600-Vac station service bus from Transformers KRB and KRC, to Station Service D1A, with two runs of 1,600 ampere, continuously rated, copper, nonsegregated-phase bus. Two existing 2-inch rigid steel conduits and CT circuits, from the two transformers to D1A, may also need to be removed and relocated.
    Work is located at Blue Mesa Powerplant approximately 40 miles east of Montrose, Colorado in Gunnison County.
    The Period of performance is expected between August 2025 through August 2026. This is estimated to be between $500K and $1.0 Million.
    The NACIS code is 237130 with a size Standard of $ 45.0 Million.
    The resultant contract will be a firm fixed priced. The government will make an award to the contractor whose proposal is considered to be the best value to the Government. To determine the best value, this acquisition may utilize a trade off process. The process permits trade-offs among the technical capability, past performance, and price, and allows the Government to accept other than the lowest priced proposal.
    The Statement of work and drawings will be included with the Solicitation.
    A pre-proposal site visit will be held at the Blue Mesa Powerplant. The date and time of the site visit will be provided in the solicitation.
