    LA-BAYOU SAUVAGE NWR-REHAB OBS DECKS

    Synopsis:
    The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to for the removal and replacement of the existing two observation decks¿ pilling, longitudinal beams, decking, handrails, and cross bracing per included stamped signed design drawings and specifications as well as remove and replace the existing pavilion decking at the entrance to the trail at Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge New Orleans, Louisiana.

    This procurement action is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-aside.

    A pre-proposal site visit and instructions will be announced with the solicitation.

    The NAICS code in 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a size standard of $45M.

    The project magnitude is between $450,000 and $600,000.

    The work will commence within 15 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 300 days.

    This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.

    This work involves performing work as defined in the Statement of Work that will be provided when solicitation is issued. Detailed requirements and/or specifications will be listed within the solicitation. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation with an award to the offeror(s) providing the best value, based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the solicitation once issued.

    The solicitation package will include the Solicitation Forms (SF1442), Statement of Work and other attachments as required. Documents will be posted to the https://www.sam.gov.

    Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this requirement. The SAM can be found at https://www.sam.gov. Payments will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer using the data within the SAM registration database. A pre-proposal site visit and instructions will be announced with the solicitation.
