    INTRODUCTION: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build Construct Sterile Processing Service (SPS) Construction project at the Omaha VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Omaha, NE. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Omaha VAMC is seeking a general contractor to construct a new SPS addition to Building 25 of approximately 11,000 square feet (SF) on top of the existing Building 25 s roof level as required by drawings and specifications. The requirement will include but is not limited to the preparation of the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnishing of labor and materials, equipment, management, supervision, tools, and all other necessary resources to perform the required work. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation will be issued in June of 2025. The period of performance is approximately 545 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
