    Description

    The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to procure construction services for the Pittsburg VA Medical Center. The selected offeror shall provide all management, supervisions, labor, transportation, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the construction of project 646-23-405 UD Upgrade 2A130/7W139 Medical Air Systems per the Statemen of Work The project shall be completed in accordance with all current VA standards at the time of award. Wage Determination PA20250001 dated 03/28/2025 applies to this solicitation. The Contractor shall be responsible for the correct title of classification of workers and compliance with applicable wage and hour laws. This project is being solicited as a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction The Small Business size standard is $45 million. In accordance with FAR 36.204, The magnitude of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 A site visit will be held on 5/28/2025 at 1:00 PM ET. Interested parties shall meet in the main lobby of the Pittsburgh VAMC, located at University Drive. Pittsburgh PA, 15240 Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted via email to John.Mignogna@va.gov by 6/4/2025 at 4:00 PM. Responses will be posted on SAM.gov as an amendment to the solicitation. A virtual bid opening will take place on 6/23/2025 at 2:00 PM ET. All bids MUST be received by this time, or they will not be accepted. Bids should be sent via email to the Contract Specialist at John.Mignogna@va.gov. The link to attend the bid opening is included in the solicitation below. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder, whose bid, in conformance with the solicitation, results in the lowest price. VAAR Clause 852.219-75 MUST be signed and included with the bid or offerors will be deemed ineligible for award.
