    LAMR - ENERGIZE STORAGE BUILDING

    PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:

    The National Park Service, Contracting Operations – Central, intends to issue a Request for Quote for the Energize Storage Building project for the Lake Meredith National Recreational Area near Fritch, Texas.

    This project shall consist of installing one (1) 150 amp breaker panel with 24 spaces and associated equipment on metal storage building located at Lake Meredith National Recreation Area Spring Canyon. Contractor shall provide wiring and install fourteen (14) 125 amp outlets and one (1) 60 amp 230 volt waterproof AC disconnect in specified location for outside power source. Once electrical installation is complete, contractor shall apply 2.0 closed-cell spray foam for the interior envelope and paint with to seal. Breaker panel shall be installed for energizing from local power distributor. This building is used for Law Enforcement and provides critical storage for search and rescue equipment and training items. The need for keeping equipment charged and at the ready is essential.

    TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by Summer 2025 with performance to begin in Summer 2025.

    Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Hutchinson County, TX will apply.

    North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 236220, and the size standard is $45 million.

    This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses.

    SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.

    PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued and available in May 2025 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities .

    The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.

    REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have an UEI number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date once the solicitation is posted.
