All information in this pre-solicitation announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is no way binding on the Government. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) will be issuing a request for proposal to procure construction to renovate BLDG 1, 1st Floor Acute Respiratory Clinic. A request for proposal will be issued as a total SDVOSB set-aside on or about May 13, 2026. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220-Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the Small Business Size Standard is $45M. PSC code is Z1DA, Maintenance of Other Hospital Buildings Project magnitude of this design-build construction project is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. General Description of the work includes, but not limited to, the following: The general scope of this requirement is to renovate the existing space to create an acute respiratory clinic (ARC) at the front of building 1, main hospital. Space will include a secondary front entrance into a separated clinic suite where seasonal flu and pandemic triage procedures may be followed. The intent of the clinic is to serve a dual function. During normal operating conditions it shall be an expansion of Primacy Care (PC) space or procedure space. When activated in response to seasonal influenza or future pandemic measures the suite will be isolated with controlled access, a designated entrance for patients presenting for care, and negative pressure HVAC system. See statement of work for details The period of performance is approximately 224 calendar days after NTP. The place of performance is the Fresno VA Medical Center located at 2615 East Clinton Avenue, Fresno, CA 93703-2223.
