Pursuant to Section 3-05 of the New York City Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) intends to enter into a sole source agreement with Flymotion LLC for the purchase of a Trident Series Command Center with Drone Detection nodes. The vehicle being customized by Flymotion allows NYPD to be vigilant against the hazard posed by the use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) or drones, especially amongst those who will place an explosive or dispersal device on the UAS with the intent of causing harm. NYPD believes that this equipment and its associated technologies are provided exclusively by Flymotion LLC. Any vendor besides Flymotion LLC that believes it can provide this is invited to do so.
