    Description

    New York City Department of Social Services (DSS) Community Food Connection (CFC; formerly Emergency Food Assistance Program or EFAP) is seeking a vendor to manage a new CFC Grant Program. This grant program will replace the EFAP Administrative Expense Reimbursement Grant program, providing more timely support through upfront grants. It will also support activities to strengthen, expand, and improve the emergency food network. Grants will target program needs and strengthen and improve the New York City emergency food network.Anticipated # of Contracts: 1Antiticpated Contract Term: Three (3) years from the Notice to ProceedAntiticpated Procurement Value:   The anticipated total funding for this contract (administrative services) will be approximately $6,000,000 (six million dollars) throughout the contract term, or $2,000,000 (two million dollars) per year. The annual program budget is anticipated to be $2,000,000, from which the proposer will be responsible for awarding approximately $1,800,000 (one million eight hundred thousand dollars) to approximately 300 to 350 grantees. The proposer will receive a total award of $600,000 (six hundred thousand dollars) throughout the contract term, or $200,000 (two hundred thousand dollars) per annum.   To respond to this Human/Client Services Request for Proposals (RFP)/RFx, organizations must have an account and an approved HHS Prequalification Application in PASSPort.
