    The State University of New York at Oneonta will receive sealed bids for project number 091073.01 titled Minor Renovations – Chase PE Phase 1 until 2:00 p.m. local time on June 24, 2026, new date of July 1, 2026 per Addendum 1 the Facilities Planning Annex, 322 West Street, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.The bid opening date was changed per Addendum 1 to July 1, 2026 at 2pm local time. All work on this Contract is to be completed by July 16, 2027. Per Addendum 1 last day for quesitons or requests for clarification to June 22, 2026 by 5:00 pm. The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Project Number 091073.01 titled Minor Renovations – Chase PE Phase 1 and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents. The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Demo of existing locker rooms on two levels (including abatement as required), selective demo of existing mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, and plumbing systems. Construction of new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm systems, new partitions, flooring, doors/frames/hardware, ceiling, and miscellaneous finishes. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. A project walk through will be held on June 9, 2026 at 11:00 am. Please meet at construction trailer at 322 West Street, Oneonta NY 13820. Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between the University and potential bidders during the procurement process. Failure to adhere to this provision may result in the disqualification under the NYS Procurement Lobbying Act. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
