The Town of Sewall’s Point is requesting a proposal for a metal building meeting the following dimensions: 40 feet wide X 20 feet deep X 12 feet high building with a 12-feet-wide X 20-feet-deep carport on each side. (See picture and diagram). The floor will be 4" thick 3000psi concrete slab with fiber mesh with a 12"x14" footer with 2- #5 rebars around the perimeter, with a 3 and 1/2” recess. An interior dividing wall will evenly divide the building from the floor to the trusses, 12’ from the floor. Each carport will have a 4” concrete slab with fiber mesh with a 12” X 14” footer with 2 - #5 rebars around the perimeter. The building will have a 36” wide high wind-rated entrance door on each side, leading from the carport into the building. The front of the building will have 2- 10’ X 10’ high wind certified rollup doors with header seals and chain hoists. The structure will need site-specific 170 mph-rated plans and engineering.
